State Highway 2 north of Napier is open to 2 lanes and under a temporary speed limit, following yesterday’s crash.

The road had been reduced to 1 lane with a 30 km/h temporary speed restriction since the recovery of the crashed truck in the early hours of this morning.

Two lanes of the road in both directions are now open. The slow vehicle bay remains closed.

This stretch of road remains under a temporary 50 km/h speed limit.
