This incident has been resolved, and access to State Highway 58 at the SH59 Paremata roundabout has been restored for northbound traffic.

2:30pm

Northbound traffic  needing to access State Highway 58 from State Highway 59 in Paremata are asked to take an alternative route while Police manage an incident at the Paremata Roundabout.

Access to State Highway 58 Paremata Road is currently closed to northbound traffic while police attend and investigate a single vehicle crash.

Westbound drivers can still access State Highway 59 from State Highway 58/Paremata Road.

Southbound drivers on State Highway 59  can also access State Highway 58 via  the southbound slip lane at Mana.

Northbound traffic wanting to head east to Pāuatahanui are asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
