A crash has closed State Highway 2 Hawke’s Bay Expressway between the Pākōwhai/Links Road and Evenden Road roundabouts.

A signposted detour is in place.

Northbound traffic will be detoured right onto Evenden Road, left onto Pākōwhai Road, before continuing north onto the expressway. The reverse will apply for southbound vehicles.

Emergency services are on site and road users are advised to expect delays.
