Drivers are urged to take care as a strong wind warning remains in place for Hawke’s Bay south of Hastings and Tararua.

A Metservice strong wind warning remains in place until later this evening.

People travelling through Central Hawke’s Bay, especially in high sided vehicles and on motorbikes, are urged to take care or delay their journey.
