There are multiple closures scheduled between Sunday 15 and Friday 20 March from Silverdale to Warkworth for maintenance, which will affect State Highway 1 (SH1) travel. 

The closures are:

• Johnstones Hill Tunnels: There will be a full northbound closure from 9pm Sunday 15 to 9pm Wednesday 18 March night and day (24/7). Traffic will still be able to travel north using one of the southbound lanes.  
• Silverdale interchange to Warkworth: There will be a full northbound closure overnight on Tuesday 17 March between 9pm and 5am. Please use the recommended detour via Hibiscus Coast and Old State Highway 1.  
• Johnstones Hill Tunnels: There will be a full southbound closure from 9pm Wednesday 18 March to 5am Friday 20 March night and day (24/7). Traffic will still be able to travel south using one of the northbound lanes. 
• Warkworth to Silverdale interchange: There will be a full southbound closure overnight on Wednesday 18 March between 9pm and 5am. Please use the recommended detour via Old State Highway 1 and Hibiscus Coast Highway.
