Manurewa’s Hill Road overbridge over State Highway 1 (SH1) will be closed overnight on Wednesday 18 February for bridge inspections.

The full closure between 9pm and 5am will allow the team to safely carry out detailed inspections without any vibration interference from traffic.

While the team are working, there will be a full closure in both directions on the overbridge between Grand Vue Road and the Hill Road southbound off‑ramp. 

Road users will need to detour via Claude Road, Alfriston Road and Stratford Road. 

Nearby properties may experience increased noise levels when the team are working.  

This work is weather dependent and may change from advertised dates.  A contingency shift has been scheduled for Thursday 19 February.
