On Sunday 13 September between 10pm and 5am, we will be carrying out overnight maintenance works on State Highway 20A (SH20A) near Auckland Airport.

There will be a full closure in both directions between SH20A links and Landing Drive, with southbound between the SH20/SH20A links and Landing Drive, and northbound between SH20A Landing Drive and Kirkbride Road.

Motorists travelling to and from Auckland Airport should allow extra travel time and follow the signed detour routes.

Airport pick-up and drop-off traffic and freight movements through the area may be affected during the closure period.

Detour is as follows:

• SH20 southbound traffic travelling to Auckland Airport: Detour via Massey Road, Kirkbride Road, Westney Road, Timberly Road and Verssimo Drive.
• SH20 northbound traffic travelling to Auckland Airport: Detour via Coronation Road, McKenzie Road, Kirkbride Road, Ascot Road, Richard Pearse Drive, Airpark Drive.
• Northbound traffic leaving Auckland Airport: Detour via Airpark Drive, Richard Pearse Drive, Ascot Road and Kirkbride Road
