Road users may experience delays during upcoming nightworks on State Highway 20B (SH20B) between Prices Road and Vision Place.

Between Monday 9 and Wednesday 11 November from 10pm to 5am, important paving maintenance works are scheduled.

Full westbound closures and eastbound lane restrictions will be in place, with SH20B ramp/link closures and signposted detours as follows:

Monday 9 November

• Closed: Puhinui Road northbound off-ramp / Cavendish Drive to Puhinui Road service lane. Detour via Cavendish Drive, Noel Burnside Road and Puhinui Road.
• Closed: Puhinui Road northbound on-ramp.Detour via Noel Burnside Road and Cavendish Drive to use the Cavendish Drive northbound on-ramp.
• Closed: Puhinui Road southbound off-ramp.Detour via Lambie Drive, head north to Cavendish Drive, then Noel Burnside Road and Puhinui Road. 

Traffic heading towards the airport: Detour via SH20 to SH20A.

Traffic heading westbound from Puhinui Road: Detour via Wyllie Road, Station Road, Buckland Road, Massey Road to Kirkbride Road on-ramp.

 Tuesday 9 November

• Closed: Puhinui Road northbound off-ramp / Cavendish Drive to Puhinui Road service lane.Detour via Cavendish Drive, Noel Burnside Road and Puhinui Road.
• Closed: Puhinui Road southbound off-ramp. Detour via Lambie Drive, head north to Cavendish Drive, then Noel Burnside Road and Puhinui Road.
• Closed: Puhinui Road to Cavendish Drive service lane and Puhinui Road southbound on-ramp.Detour via Noel Burnside Road and Cavendish Drive.

Traffic heading westbound from Puhinui Road: Detour via Wyllie Road, Station Road, Buckland Road, Massey Road to Kirkbride Road on-ramp.

Traffic heading towards the airport: Detour via SH20 to SH20A.

Works are weather dependent and may change. Wednesday 11 November is a contingency day and will be used if required.

To avoid congestion, NZTA strongly recommends using SH20A as an alternative route where possible.

Nearby properties may experience increased noise while the team complete the work.
