Resurfacing nightworks on the northbound on-ramp of SH1 at Ngauranga Interchange will continue next week, and drivers are urged to be prepared for its impact on traffic. 

These works are weather-dependent and schedules may change. Drivers are encouraged to check road conditions before they travel.

On Tuesday 20 January, 9pm to 4:30am and Thursday 22 January, 9pm to 4:30am, contractors will be resurfacing the SH1 northbound on-ramp at Ngauranga Interchange. Travellers on Hutt Road wanting to enter SH1 will need to detour via Onslow Road and follow detour signs to rejoin SH1 at Johnsonville. Heavy vehicles will need to join SH1 via Aotea Quay. 

Works Schedule and Detour Route:

• Tuesday 20 January and Thursday 22 January. 9pm – 4:30am
• SH1 northbound on-ramp CLOSED.
