Road maintenance will take place at multiple locations along State Highway 16 (SH16) between Wellsford and Restall Road from Monday 7 September for approximately three weeks to repair sections of the road that have deteriorated over time.

Expect delays as stop/go traffic management will be in place between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Temporary speed restrictions will remain in place throughout the period of works including between construction stages and overnight, to protect the new road surface and ensure the safety of road users.

Nearby properties may experience increased noise levels from equipment and vehicles. Any property access affected will be managed by traffic control.

A second round of works to complete the final surfacing layer, will take place by the end of the year. We will update road users on this closer to the time.
