State Highway 1/Pioneer Highway, south of Mataura in Southland, is clear again after a blockage due to a tractor rolling over this afternoon.

Police were called to the single-vehicle crash, between State Highway 96/Glencoe Highway and Craig Road, around 3.20pm today, but said there were no serious injuries. Road users were warned of delays and asked to avoid the area.

Contractors for New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi travelled to the crash site to assist with clean-up and clearing the road.

Although now fully clear, people are asked to travel with care on this route.
