NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is advising drivers to expect delays due to the closure of State Highway 2 from Monument Road to Okaeria Road following a two-truck crash on the highway near Maramarua.
 
The road is expected to remain closed for the rest of the afternoon. 
 
Eastbound traffic will be detoured via Monument Road towards Miranda Road. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Okaeria Road to SH2 via Kopuku Road or alternatively to State Highway 1 at Te Kauwhata.
 
Motorists should expect delays and check the NZTA Journey Planner before they travel.
