State Highway 26 (SH26) Paeroa, between Claremont Avenue and Norwood Road, will close from Monday 9 November for up to seven days to carry out a stormwater pipeline upgrade associated with the new Racecourse Subdivision. 

The temporary closure will commence from 6am on Monday 9 November until 5pm on Sunday 15 November.

People travelling on SH26 will be detoured via Hubbard Road and back to State Highway 2 (SH2).

The detour will add approximately one minute to travel times. 

Residents within the closure area and emergency services will still be permitted access.
