People travelling on State Highway 29 (SH29) over the Ruahihi Bridge should expect delays while maintenance work is carried out at night, from Sunday 28 June until 6am Friday 3 July. 

Work will take place overnight between 9pm and 6am. During these hours, stop/go traffic management and lane closures will be in place to keep crews and road users safe. 

A temporary speed limit of 30km/h may remain in place during the day throughout the work site. 

Please allow extra time for your journey and take extra care when travelling through the area.
