Overnight, while crews were restoring the road surface on State Highway 30A (SH30A), a tomo was discovered near the centre island.  

Two lanes remain open, but a reduced speed limit of 30km/h is in place while the site is being closely monitored. 

Motorists are asked to slow down and take extra care when travelling through this location. 

Once the morning peak traffic has eased, a full site investigation will be undertaken to determine the significance of the tomo.
