State Highway 7, between Springs Junction and the Hanmer Springs turnoff (including Lewis Pass), has reopened after a closure due to snow this morning.

People are reminded to take care in the winter driving conditions.

Snow has this morning closed State Highway 7, between Springs Junction and the Hanmer Springs turnoff (including Lewis Pass).   

Road users are asked to avoid the area or delay their journeys if possible.
