Following the recovery of a crashed truck, State Highway 77 between Glentunnel and Windwhistle, in central Canterbury, is now open.

State Highway 77 between Glentunnel and Windwhistle, in central Canterbury, will be closed for several hours today to allow a vehicle recovery. 

A truck had earlier rolled in the area but is off the highway. The road will be closed to traffic in both directions from 10am for approximately four to five hours for the recovery operation.
