A stretch of State Highway 3 at Mt Messenger is currently closed, due to a slip.

The road is closed south of Mt Messenger Tunnel, however there is no viable detour through the area.

Crews are en route to site to clear the slip as quickly and safely as possible.

Please delay your journey.
