The highway is now open to traffic in both directions.

Drivers travelling on State Highway 1 in Marlborough can expect delays while emergency services attend a crash in Seddon this morning.

The crash was reported  around 9 am this morning.

State Highway 1 is currently closed between Goulter Street and Fell Street. However, local road detours are available.

Drivers can expect travel delays while emergency services and contractors attend the crash scene and work to reopen the highway.

Road users must follow all instructions from emergency services and drive with caution through the area.
