Due to a crash, State Highway 1B is closed in both directions between the SH1 Hautapu interchange (including the southbound off-ramp) and Norfolk St.

This means both southbound off-ramps to Cambridge are currently closed.

Southbound SH1 traffic can access Cambridge by exiting at the Tamahere interchange.

A local detour around SH1B is also available via Hautapu Road, Peake Road, Cambridge Road, Hamilton Road, then on to Victoria Road.

People are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
