The latest winter edition newsletters are now available for Marlborough and Nelson/Tasman, providing details on maintenance works over the school holidays and winter.

The summer maintenance season may be over, but road crews remain active on the network over the cooler and wetter winter period.

Roadworks over the Matariki long weekend 

All non-essential roadworks will pause for the Matariki long weekend with contractors shutting down sites from midday on Thursday, 9 July until midnight on Sunday, 12 July. 

People may still see some of our crews out on the roads repairing potholes, responding to incidents, or carrying out essential work.

Drivers planning on travelling over Matariki, are encouraged to check the the Journey Planner for the most up-to-date information.
