State Highway 6 now has one lane open for northbound traffic at the site of a truck crash earlier this afternoon.
Ongoing travel delays can be expected while emergency services and contractors continue to clear the road and resolve the incident.

Drivers travelling between Nelson and Richmond on State Highway 6 are warned to expect travel delays following a truck crash on the route this afternoon.
The highway is closed to northbound traffic near the Quarantine Road roundabout – a logging truck has rolled. The incident was reported shortly before 1 pm.
The adjacent cycleway is also closed to allow debris and logs to be cleared from the crash site.
Ongoing delays can be expected in the area until the incident is resolved. Drivers should avoid the area and use an alternative route until further notice.
People travelling near the crash site should follow all instructions from emergency services and road crews.
