Road users should expect closures and detours for essential maintenance on State Highway 20 (SH20) between Neilson Street and Maioro Street on Wednesday 21 October and Thursday 22 October.

Overnight on Wednesday 21 October from 10pm – 5am, a full northbound closure will be in place between Neilson Street and Maioro Street, with the following ramps closed:

• Neilson Street northbound on-ramp
• Walmsley Road northbound off-ramp
• Coronation Road northbound off-ramp and on-ramp
• Maioro Street northbound off-ramp

Please follow the signposted detour via Onehunga Harbour Road, Mount Smart Road, Mount Albert Road, Dominion Road, Denbigh Avenue, Stoddard Road and Maioro Street.

Orpheus Drive (local road) will be closed as part of the closure.

Overnight on Thursday 22 October from 10pm to 5am, there will be a full southbound closure between Maioro Street and Neilson Street, with the following ramps closed:

• Maioro Street southbound on-ramp
• Hillsborough Road southbound on-ramp and off-ramp
• Queenstown Road southbound on-ramp
• Neilson Street southbound off-ramp

Please follow the signposted detour via Maioro Street, Stoddard Road, Denbigh Avenue, Dominion Road, Mount Albert Road, Mount Smart Road, Onehunga Mall, Neilson Street and Gloucester Park Road to the Neilson Street southbound on-ramp.

These works are required to keep the network safe and reliable for all road users.
