8:50am – SH54 now open to stop/go traffic management

State Highway 54 at Aorangi is now open to stop/go traffic management following an earlier crash.

The road was earlier closed between Waughs Roa and Te Arakura Road.

The road is now open with stop/go traffic management in place. Please continue to expect delays as morning congestion eases, travel to the conditions and stop on request.

6:20am – Crash closes stretch of SH54

A crash this morning has closed a stretch of State Highway 54 at Aorangi, between Newbury and Feilding.

The road is closed between Waughs Roa and Te Arakura Road.
