9am – SH8 fully reopened after crash at Clyde

State Highway 8/Cromwell-Clyde Road in Central Otago has fully reopened after a crash earlier this morning. Both lanes of traffic are now operating again. People are asked to travel with care on this route. 


8.20am – Crash partially closes SH8 at Clyde

A crash this morning has resulted in State Highway 8/Cromwell-Clyde Road in Central Otago being closed to westbound traffic.

The lane for eastbound traffic remains open, as emergency services work at the crash scene. The closure of SH8/Cromwell-Clyde Road at Clyde is between the intersections with Hazlett Street and Sunderland Street.
