Flooding is affecting State Highway 25 at Manaia on the Coromandel Peninsula this evening.

Please delay your journey or consider an alternative route, as it may not be safe to use this stretch of the highway.

Manaia is 42 kilometres north of Thames and 17 kilometres south of Coromandel township.

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) advises road users to not drive into flooded areas of roads.
