Lower North Island/Upper South Island - Planned state highway roadworks

Important information for drivers.
Lower North Island
- Ramp closures and nightworks are planned for State Highway 1 Johnsonville this Sunday, road rebuild and drainage works continue at State Highway 1 near Kuku until 18 September.
- On State Highway 58, there will be a night closure next Sunday (7 September) for night infrastructure works on Paremata Road, and safety improvements will begin at the Moonshine Hill Road intersection on State Highway 2 Upper Hutt from mid-September
Top of the South Island
- NZTA/Waka Kotahi and NZ Police are asking drivers to keep their cool and slow down at road work sites across the region
- Resilience project works continue on the Whangamoa Hill on State Highway 6 as do slip repairs at State Highway 6 Dellows Bluff
