10.12am:
State Highway 25 (SH25) remains CLOSED this morning at Ruamahunga Bay on Thames Coast Road following a slip last night. There is also a tree down blocking the lanes.
The closure is between Wharf Road at Tapu and Pohue Creek Road in the south.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has an arborist and excavator crew enroute. A Geotechnical engineer will assess the stability of the slip before clearance work begins.
